With the Squid Game's inaugural Netflix series, Hoyeon, a South Korean actor and model was a hit with the world. In recognition of her performance that made headlines on the show, Hoyeon won the Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in an Drama Series and earned an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Hoyeon hails in Myeonmok-dong (a suburb in Seoul) she began her modeling career as an unofficial model in Seoul Fashion Week 2011. Hoyeon won a place in the Korean version of Next Top Model season 4. Her first international success came in the year 2016 after she was given the world's exclusive contract from Louis Vuitton. Fendi, Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu have all featured in her campaigns.
